Lovely little Carla and Liseth, ages 3 and 5, are the daughters of our friends
Juan and Brigit. Here they are visiting our house without their parents for the
first time. Isaac is drawing a little picture of a person to color and cut out
to make a doll for them, and they are teasing him by playing with his hat. They
speak only Spanish, though they are learning English words quickly. They speak
slowly for us, understanding that we are trying to learn Spanish quickly!
